App blocker guide
An App Blocker for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
Stackwall is an app blocker for the apps you open on autopilot. It blocks selected apps with Screen Time, opens a phrase-based pause, and lets you earn a short temporary pass when you choose.

Block the apps that pull you into a feed
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reels, and Shorts can be useful. They can also turn a quick check into a long, unplanned session. Start by blocking the specific apps or categories that cause the most unwanted use.
Stackwall uses Screen Time for app blocking. When you try to open a blocked app, Stackwall opens in its place.
Tap a phrase before you unlock
In the default mode, you tap the current phrase to reveal the next one. Each tap adds your chosen number of seconds to your earned-time bank.
If you need more active friction, set a text note or voice rep before a tap earns time. You can also record your own phrase audio and play it during tapping or Timer mode.
Earn, spend, and re-lock
When your bank has enough earned time, you can spend a completed 10-minute block on selected apps. The pass ends automatically, and the apps re-lock.
This gives you a useful middle path. You do not need to delete every app, but access does not stay open by accident.
Get help in the moment
Stacky Coach follows a short Pause, Reframe, Choose flow. Describe what is happening, then get five phrases shaped around the situation. You can refine, practice, record, or save the ones that help.

A pause before the scroll.
Stackwall blocks selected apps, gives you a phrase to tap through, and lets you choose a short pass when you need one.
Common questions
Can Stackwall block TikTok and Instagram?
Yes. You choose the apps and categories to block with Screen Time, including TikTok and Instagram when they are on your device.
What happens when I need to use a blocked app?
You can earn time, choose a temporary unlock pass, and use the app until the pass ends. Stackwall then re-locks the selected apps automatically.
