Stacky Coach guide
How Stacky Coach Helps Before You Scroll
Stacky Coach helps you work with the thought before the scroll. It asks what is happening, gives you new ways to frame the moment, and lets you choose what to do next.

The app is often not the first move
The urge can start with a hard task, boredom, loneliness, stress, or a simple pause between things. The feed is only the quickest exit.
Stacky Coach gives that first thought somewhere to go before the app takes over.
Pause, Reframe, Choose
Stacky Coach uses three steps. Pause long enough to notice what is happening. Reframe the thought that is pushing you toward the app. Choose a next move that fits what you need right now.
The reframes are not instructions from a stranger. They are prompts you can edit, practice, record, and save in your own words.
Change the thought, then decide about access
After the reframe, you can return to the task, take a short break, or earn a temporary pass. The order matters because the choice happens before the feed starts.
Stackwall still blocks the selected app. Coach gives you a better thought to bring to that block.
- Name what was happening right before you reached for the app.
- Write or speak the thought you want to carry into the next minute.
- Choose a concrete next action, then let the selected apps re-lock after a pass.
Keep the language that works for you
One person may need a reminder about sleep. Another may need a nudge back to a book, a child, a workout, or a task that felt hard five minutes ago.
Save the phrases that sound like you. The useful phrase is the one that makes the next app-open decision less automatic.
